_Numbers as of Sep 14, 2026 pull._

No new USDA feedstuff prices have been published since the previous issue. The energy and protein boards hold at their last-quoted levels. Hominy feed remains the cheapest energy source on the board at **$0.076 per pound of TDN** on a dry-matter basis, **66% of corn's cost per pound of TDN** (corn at approximately $179/ton, plant input cost, per USDA).

- **Protein board unchanged:** Sunflower meal holds at **$0.266/lb of crude protein** on a dry-matter basis, **70% of soybean meal** (SBM approximately $360/ton FOB, per USDA). Feather meal is second at $0.281/lb CP, 74% of SBM.
- **Energy board standings:** Soybean hulls follow hominy at $0.109/lb TDN, 95% of corn. Wheat millrun is third at $0.113/lb TDN, 98% of corn.
- **DDGS dual read:** At approximately $184/ton, DDGS prices energy at 100% of corn's cost per pound of TDN and protein at 91% of soybean meal. Both readings are unchanged on the week.
- **Harvest context:** The September-November harvest phase is characterized by new-crop corn and soybeans pressuring grain benchmarks, which pulls feedstuff prices with them. No benchmark move has been recorded this week.
- **USDA supply backdrop (Aug 14, 2026):** USDA ERS revised 2026/27 corn ending stocks down 3.5 million metric tons to 42 million MT, citing higher export demand. Separately, USDA ERS raised the 2026/27 soybean production forecast to a record 4.52 billion bushels, with ending stocks at 320 million bushels, up 10 million from the prior forecast.

**Data note:** 48 price series have not updated in more than two weeks, including alfalfa pellets and almond hulls. Any figures from those series are stale.
